 Teaching Kids to Quilt

Get Ready, Set, Sew!

  • Explain to the children what they will be doing and why. Before you begin, show a finished block and a sample quilt-a great way to excite everyone about the project.
  • Work with a few kids at a time. While the other students continue their regular lessons, give the young quilters the attention they need as they learn this new skill. It makes them feel very special too.
