Teaching Kids to Quilt
What You'll Need:
- Kids! At least eight years of age, old enough to use straight pins, sharp scissors and a sewing machine.
- Fabrics kids like. They'll find juvenile prints interesting, but add other prints and colors so students get a feeling for the wide variety of fabrics that go into patchwork.
- Basic equipment--scissors, pins, a sewing machine, an iron and an ironing board.
- Help. Recruit two or more adult sewers for each session.
