Get set for a change in the seasons with this September-inspired block by Quiltmaker artist Theresa Eisinger.

To complete your September/Leaf block, choose scraps of vivid red, green or gold to mimic the brilliant colors of changing leaves. Piece each section in numerical order. Then, with a light source behind, trace any embroidery details on the front of the block. Remove paper and embroider as needed. Pattern measures 3 1/2" wide, including seam allowances.
Patterns are the reverse of the finished block.
