January/Snowman

This chilly snowman chap is first in our series of mini-foundation-pieced patterns. Designed by Quiltmaker artist Theresa Eisinger, this little fellow is perfect for ushering in the new year, or for celebrating the winter season.

To complete your January/Snowman block, choose fabrics similar to our color study shown here, or select your own unique color scheme. Piece each section in numerical order, then join Sections 1 and 2. Then, with a light source behind, trace any embroidery details on the front of the block. Remove paper and embroider as needed. Pattern measures 3 1/2" wide, including seam allowances.
Patterns are the reverse of the finished block.
