Step 5 Quilting and Finishing
Layer the lining, batting and quilt top and baste the layers together.
Using the patchwork as a guide, quilt a grid in the blocks and J patches as shown. Quilt the unit 2 and 3 border seams in the ditch. Outline quilt the unit 2 and 3 red and blue strips.
Join the binding strips and sew to the quilt to enclose the edges. To display your wall quilt, sew a sleeve to the lining by hand.
