The Nesting Habit
For patchwork with corners that meet, nesting the seam allowances when sewing will ensure accuracy.
With the seam allowances of the units to be joined lying in opposite directions, match the seams. The two sets of seam allowances will nest against one another. Pin them in place and stitch. When you open the units and press the seam, the corners will match perfectly.
