Now a fourth quick and easy technique to make the final type of unit. You may be able to figure out the general design at the end of this part because you'll assemble 3 more sections.



 Making the Unit 11's

For the unit 11's, you will need 5 [8] light blue B's and 5 [8] medium blue B's. For each pair, align a light blue B on a medium blue B, right sides together, and draw a diagonal line on the light blue B. Stitch 1/4" out from both sides of the line. Cut along the line to make 2 triangle squares.

With the darker fabric on top, open and press.

Cut all the triangle squares in half diagonally. Pairing appropriate halves, join to make 10 [16] unit 11's.

Label these and set them aside until later.
