Welcome back! Now that you have your fabrics selected, patches cut, and unit 1's-5's made, we will construct another type of unit.



 Making the Unit 6's-10's

All of these units have the same stitch-and-flip construction technique.

For the unit 6's you will need 16 [28] dark red C's and 64 [112] light blue D's.

With right sides together, align a light blue D on a corner of a dark red C. Stitch a diagonal line from corner to corner on D as shown. Trim, leaving a 1/4" seam allowance. Flip the D patch open and press. Repeat for the remaining corners of C. Repeat to make 16 [28] unit 6's.

For the unit 7's, you will need 6 [16] dark blue C's and 24 [64] white D's. Following the technique used for the unit 6's, make 6 [16] unit 7's.
