Following the diagram, join the cats and A patches to make the row 1's and row 2's. Matching centers and ends, sew a sash to the bottom of a row 1. In the same way, sew the remaining sashes and rows together.
Sew the side border strips to the quilt. After pressing, trim any extra length. Repeat to add the top and bottom strips. Remove the foundation paper.
