Step 3 Completing the Top
Alternating types and arranging the bugs as desired, join the blocks and P patches to make 4 vertical rows.
Measure the length of each row. Using the shortest length, trim the sashes to this measurement.
Matching centers and ends, sew a row and sash together, easing any fullness as needed. Repeat to join the remaining rows and sashes.
Sew the border 1 side strips to the quilt and press the seam allowances away from the center. Trim any extra length. Add the border 1 top and bottom strips in the same way. Repeat to add the border 2 strips.
