This charming little quilt, featuring a bevy of bugs and other little creatures, is easy to make with foundation piecing and fusible patches. Sew down the raw edges with a buttonhole stitch and draw the tiny legs and antennae with a permanent-ink fabric pen.

For its sister quilt-bugs among fanciful flowers with yo-yos and chenille--see Bugs and Blossoms in our special newsstand issue Quiltmaker's All-Time Favorites-Spring '04. To check availability of this special issue, visit www.villagequiltshoppe.com.

For help with all phases of the quiltmaking process, see Basic Lessons.
