Christmas Wreaths

When I saw the cover of QM Nov/Dec '97 (No.58), I knew immediately what I was going to give to my three friends at work. Knowing what a job it would be to make three Christmas Wreaths in less than two months, I made sure I worked on them every day. Every morning, I made five leaves (the quilts took over 200). As an added touch, I embroidered each friend's name and the year on one leaf. The quilts were done the day before Christmas Eve and we got together for lunch and exchanged presents. Oohs and aahs reverberated throughout the restaurant. My friends just loved their quilts.
