Have You Made a Quiltmaker Quilt?
We love to see quilts made from our patterns! Send your photo and we'll consider it for future publication in Quiltmaker in our "Sew to Speak" and "Readers' Spotlight" columns. Only clear, well-lit and focused photographs of quilts made from Quiltmaker patterns can be considered for publication.
Please send a photo of the entire quilt and a close up shot of any interesting detail. NOTE: Photos cannot be returned.

Include:
Quiltmaker pattern you used
Size of your quilt
A short note telling why you made the quilt
Any awards it has won

We're happy to receive digital photos taken at the correct resolution to consider for publication. Printouts from an ink jet printer cannot be reproduced in the magazine. You can send your files as detailed below or you can have photos made from your digital images and send them to us.
To be considered for publication in the magazine, the file size must be at least 600 kb and the image size must meet or exceed the following:
image size (3 ways to say the same thing)
16" x 20" at 72 dpi (1152 x 1440 pixels)
8" x 11" at 180 dpi (1600 x 2000 pixels)
4" x 5" at 300 dpi (1200 x 500 pixels)
Settings vary from camera to camera. Please follow these general guidelines, knowing we can't write requirements that will work for every camera.
Newer digital cameras (3.2 MP and higher) can be set at medium resolution before taking pictures.
Older digital cameras (2.1 MP) must be set at high resolution before taking pictures.
